How can a website
help my business?
There is literally no company out there that cannot
benefit from having a web presence. Everyday more people
are getting online to find information, shop and locate
people. Even a simple web presence to list out the location
of your business, it can help. A website is accessible
globally so you can reach outside your local area. An
internet presence can strengthen your ties at low cost
with customers, employees and distributors by providing
current information that's easy to find.

What about copyright and
ownership?
There is usually a copyright for the design and a copyright
for the website content at the bottom of every page
of a website. The website design copyright is "NuVisionDesign.com"
and the content copyright is "Your Business Name".
If you prefer not to have things this way then it is
not a problem. We can place "Design By NuVisionDesign.com"
linked to our website or we can place this information
within the header code (not viewable by site visitors
unless they "VIEW PAGE SOURCE". ) You must
clear all copyright issues before you provide us with
anything. We are not responsible for copyright violations
on a client's website.

What about confidentiality?
To give you an estimate, we need to know some general
information: whether you'll be selling products or services
and any special features (shopping carts, etc.). If
you decide to hire us, you'll receive a contract guaranteeing
the confidentiality of all materials you submit to us
and protecting your intellectual property rights.

What do I have to provide?
Primarily, the main thing is to gather up the information
you would like on your site including any existing marketing
materials photos, logos, text, artwork as well as 25-word
description and keywords for each page. Search engines
and directories use descriptions and keywords in their
search. Your description should include the words or
phrases that someone might use to search for your business/products/services.
For photos we can accept .gif, .jpg., and .tif files.
Acceptable file formats for text are .doc, .rtf, .txt
and .xls on formatted diskettes (or sent via email).
Handwritten text is strongly discouraged (and costs
extra). We prefer that the information come to us in
electronic copy, however, we can scan graphics and perform
data entry for a nominal fee.
It is not necessary to have all these materials together
when go for a price quote or start your project. However,
once the website creation is under way, the faster we
get these materials, the faster your website will be
finished.
